Minutes before I went to the airport my brother Tiago said to me: ‘Come o0n, you need to learn how to carry three plates’ It was funny and very important to me because every place here asks: ‘How many plates can you carry?’
When I was opening the door, the telephone rang. It was a phone message from my brother Renato to wish me good luck. So I got emotional and I felt excited.
We travelled by Aero lines Argentina, so we were worried about this because the company had failed and a lot of flights had been delayed. We didn’t want to wait too many hours and fortunately the flight wasn’t delayed.
On the plane there were a lot of Brazilian and Argentinean guys at this time we made our first new friends who had the same ideas as us.
We left at six o’clock in the afternoon on the 29th of august and the journey to Australia took about nineteen hours. During the journey we talked about things we expected to happen and the first things we should do.
-open a bank account.
-go on a coach tour of the City.
-buy some things.
